Jason barks out a genuine laugh. He knows Johnny could be bullshitting him and is just telling him these things to get him to join but he likes the seemingly blunt answer. One of the reasons why he hasn't joined The Society so far is the potential of working with a villain he really doesn't like. If what Johnny says is true, then those kind of conflicts are easier to deal with than he originally thought.
"Well that's a nice twist to office politics," he says, very amused. "And no wonder you like me so much. I'm even more flattered now."
He then decides to turn the conversation to another point he had been pondering about.
"What about everyone else who hasn't joined you or the Alliance so far? What do you guys think of them? I know why I'm special now but there are good reasons why people don't want to deal with you guys or the Alliance."
